What a freaking good morning

The biggest weekend of the season. eek 13 of the NFL sceadule and the last week of the reagular season for fantasy football. It couldn't have turned out much better for me.

I played Matty B this week in trash talking with my postseason dreams on the line. In a tough week where just about no one scored a ton of points, I managed to put up 105, third hghest for the week, and pulled out a slim victory last night. I was 34 points up on matt going into MNF he had Daunte Stallworth playing, i wasn't worried, untill i turned the game on at the end of the third quarter and find out he's had 111 yards and a Td, oh shit. Matts pulled it within 13 points with the 4th quarter to go. That a lot of points to make up in a quarter, but I've seen it happen before. Luckly, stallworth was shut down for he rest of the game, and I edged into the playoffs. I'm actually very happy with my results in that league. I'm in the playoffs, thats all that matters. I had a lossing record, but for the first time in any pool I have ever played in, I won the scoring championship. although this league doesn't recognize points in anyway, it a nice personal accomplishment. So i live to fight another day.

and than there is the Ancaster pool. I started this year with nothing, I say it all the time. I have a team full of rookies and lucky pick ups. yesterday I conceded to the league. I was so far behind in one game, and lost the other one out right. I was tied for he last spot with 3 other people and I figured only 2 wins would give me a fighting chance to get in the playoffs. I wake up this morning, drive to work, check the page, and holy fuck, I made the playoffs. I couldn't believe it. Jeff Garcia puts up 26 points, highest score for a QB this week, and I fucking squeeze into another playoff scenario. Unbefreakinleavable. My team is so shit in the that league, Mike Furrey and Wes Welker are my starting WR this week. Jeff Garcia starting QB. I was starting the Green Bay defense. I don't have a chance at winning the league or anything, but still, anything can happen in fantasy football. The only thing I got going for me in that league, would be Colston coming back from injury. It would give me the slightest fighting chance.

I finished dead last in my Tom Cruise league. This league is full of people who could care less about fantasy football, and I suck in it every year. It's the first league I was ever in, and with all my friends from high school. I made the playoffs the first year, and than the last 4 years I have finished in the bottom 5. I just can't get that league.

I dominated some yahoo pool with Matt. My buddy and I are tied for the #1 spot, 3 games ahead of third place.

And I am 1 spot out of a playoff in another pool with Matt. But that one still has one more week of regular season left, so with a loss by Jim, and a win from me next week, i'm in.


This is going to be a great day.
